President’s son will plead guilty to two counts wilful failure to pay federal income tax and one firearm offense
Hunter Biden, the scandal-plagued son of Joe Biden, is expected to plead guilty to two counts of wilful failure to pay federal income tax, the US justice department has said in a court filing.
According to the plea deal, Hunter Biden will also enter a probation agreement on one offence of illegally possessing the gun while being a drug user. The justice department alleged that he possessed a Colt Cobra revolver in Delaware in October 2018 while “knowing that he was an unlawful user of and addicted to a controlled substance”.
