Joe Biden is holding his first press conference as president, appearing in the White House’s East Room to take questions from reporters.
Biden began his press conference by announcing his administration’s new goal for the distribution of coronavirus vaccines.
The president is now aiming to have 200m vaccine doses administered by the time he hits the 100-day mark of his presidency late next month.
